10:6 King Rehoboam consulted with the older advisers who had served ¹  his father Solomon when he had been alive. He asked them, ²  “How do you advise me to answer these people?”

2 Tawarikh 22:4

22:4 He did evil in the sight of ³  the Lord like Ahab’s dynasty because, after his father’s death, they ⁴  gave him advice that led to his destruction.

23:5 Another third of you will be stationed at the royal palace and still another third at the Foundation Gate. All the others ⁵  will stand in the courtyards of the Lord’s temple.
